Doug Erpenbeck, Director of Sales Productivity at Salesforce.com, recently used our Silicon Valley office to purchase his new GMC Acadia. We talked to him about his experience with Cartelligent and how he’s enjoying his new vehicle.
Q: How do you like your new GMC Acadia?
A: My new Acadia is fantastic! The gas mileage is so much better than my old Tahoe and it handles great for such a big car. My kids are so happy with the rear seat entertainment—it was a really good choice for my family.
Q: What made you decide to use Cartelligent?
A: I was comparing different ways to buy a new vehicle when I heard about Cartelligent. It sounded completely different than the dreaded “What can I do to put you in a car today?” From the first conversation, Cartelligent treated me like a professional. Dwight was so respectful of my time and things were done by email as much as possible. Overall, Cartelligent made car buying feel like a simple, efficient business transaction.
Q: What did you like best about working with Cartelligent?
A: In addition to the professional manner everything was conducted, I loved how quickly everything happened. Dwight looked throughout California for the colors and options I wanted, but they didn’t exist. He suggested that I do an order rather than compromise on what I wanted. He placed the order for me and four weeks later I had the car in the exact specs I wanted. I came in to the office to pick it up and was out of there within half an hour.
Q: What surprised you the most about the Cartelligent car buying experience?
A: I hadn’t expected the experience to be as good as they said it would be, but it was. Dwight delivered on everything he said he would. I was also surprised by how little paperwork there was. Cartelligent had already taken care of almost everything and all I had to do was sign in three places.
Q: What would you tell a friend about us?
A: This is a great way to go buy a new car. I love that I was able to get a Cartelligent negotiated price without doing work at all. I love feeling confident that I got a great deal.
