Chris, who works in sales at a San Francisco-based software firm, wanted to replace her current Jetta with a newer model. On a friend’s recommendation she decided to call Cartelligent to help with the process.
Q. What made you realize it was time for a new car?
A: I was driving a 2004 Jetta that I loved but planning some road trips and really needed a newer car.
Q. How did you choose the Volkswagen Jetta?
A: I just wanted another Jetta.
Q. Why did you decide to use Cartelligent?
A: A friend bought a car from you this summer and raved about how easy and pleasant it was. I did go to a dealer to make sure I had all the info and was going to buy from them since I got them down to a decent price and I was going to go back the next day and sign the papers (it was a lease) but drove past Cartelligent and thought I should try it, so waited another day (they were closed on Sunday). Cartelligent got a better price and more features and it was very easy and pleasant.
Q. What did you like best about working with Cartelligent?
A: It was easy and fast. I didn’t feel like I was duking it out with them, No whining about how they are losing money (that’s what the dealer says). Dealing with progressive, up-to-date mentalities makes a difference.
Q. What surprised you about the Cartelligent car buying experience?
A: It was so easy and pleasant. That is huge – buying/leasing a new car is emotional. And we all worry that dealers are out to get us. I felt like Cartelligent was a partner. We had the same goals.
Q. What would you tell a friend about us?
A: I have told multiple people and all were interested in the process. I told them that the dealer I worked with only had a couple cars that fit what I needed and Cartelligent had access to hundreds of cars. Additionally, dealers would be happy to move cars off their lot and not pay a sales commission. It all makes sense to everyone.
