The refreshed 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 includes a new XRT variant, upgrades for improved style, ergonomics and convenience, more safety features, and increased battery capacities. Here is what some of these changes look like.
Easier Charging
2025 IONIQ 5 will come with the Tesla North American Charging Standard (NACS) port which includes access to 17,000+ chargers in the Tesla Supercharger network. To make charging anywhere easier, it also comes with a Combined Charging System (CCS) adapter.
New XRT model
The XRT model is the IONIQ 5’s dedicated off-road trim and comes equipped with exclusive features like digital camouflage cladding, exclusive exterior color options, and more.
Ergonomics and Comfort
Hyundai added physical buttons for frequently used functions and changed the wireless charging pad location for better usability in the 2025 IONIQ 5. The next-generation infotainment system comes integrated with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, Over-The-Air software updates, and several new features to Hyundai Digital Key 2 Premium.
Safety Features
Expect to see add-ons like Hands-On Detection steering wheel, Lane Following Assist 2, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, and Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist in the 2025 IONIQ 5. Is the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 Eligible for the EV Tax Credit?
